PJ Mechanical’s 2018 Graduating class!

The training center is in partnership with the labor unions and management, with the focus of providing training for state-of-the art equipment, and educational programs.

All newly hired PJ Mechanical apprentices are enrolled in a 3 year program designed to teach the basics of HVAC/R, and give them the hands training and education they will need to be successful. The program is fully funded by PJMS & MC, and is of no cost to the employee. Additionally, the training center also offers a wide range of continuing education courses for the service technicians, so they can continue to keep pace with the ever changing industry.

Steamfitters local 638

Enterprise Association of Steamfitters Local 638 was chartered in 1884 under the Knights of Labor as Enterprise Assembly #3189. They maintain the jurisdiction of general pipe fitting in New York City, including the five boroughs. Steamfitters Local 638 is over 130 years old.

United Association

The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States, Canada (UA), affiliated with the national building trades, represents approximately 340,000 plumbers, pipefitters, sprinkler fitters, service technicians and welders in local unions across North America.
